Text | [reporting on the NL rules] A players’ bench must be furnished by the home club and fastened to the ground. At each end a bat rack must be placed (one for each club) with room for twenty bats. Bats not in use must be kept in these racks and players of the side at the bat must remain on the bench except when batsman, runner, captain or assistant. |
