The 1859 game was played "a short distance east of the railroad deport." The 1859 depot sits on the site of the modern depot, 321 Main St.

An 1862 game was said to be played on the Utica Grounds "below Water St." which could be the same grounds.

Utica Daily Observer, June 28, 1862. says the Utica Club grounds are "in the rear of Read's Lumber Yard."
